Stock market news: NASDAQ 100 and DJIA both decline by 0.99% and 1.34% respectively amid mixed market sentiment

As of 12:11 PM EST, top indices in Wall Street have witnessed comparatively downward movement as trading continued on Thursday afternoon. Investors have been keeping a close eye on Trump’s tariff proposals and policy changes, while also focusing on earnings reports of substantial companies listed in Wall Street.

Leading the charge was the S&P 500 dropped 0.71% to settle at  6,100.79 USD. Meanwhile the tech-heavy NASDAQ 100 Index declined by 0.99% to reach a valuation of  21,956.37 USD

On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index also joined the negative market momentum as it slipped by 1.34% to 44,031.48 USD, and the NASDAQ Composite Index fell by 0.93% to have a valuation of 19,870.22 USD.
