L&T Technology Services (LTTS), a global leader in AI, Digital and Engineering R&D services, has announced the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Global Development Center (GDC) in the APAC region as part of its expanding multi-year collaboration with PALFINGER, the Austria-headquartered pioneer in crane and lifting solutions.
Positioned within LTTS’ Mobility segment, the newly established GDC is designed to accelerate PALFINGER’s global and India-focused product development initiatives. The center will leverage LTTS’ deep engineering expertise and AI-enabled development processes to enhance innovation, improve speed-to-market and strengthen technology leadership for PALFINGER across key markets in India and the Asia-Pacific region.
The opening of this GDC marks a significant expansion in the companies’ partnership. Under the new engagement, LTTS will deliver a comprehensive suite of engineering and digital services, including embedded software development, PLM migration, advanced CAE simulations and digital mock-up. These capabilities will support PALFINGER in enhancing its product portfolio, strengthening sourcing strategies and advancing localization programs.
A key highlight of the collaboration is the seamless integration of artificial intelligence across engineering workflows. Through AI-led design automation, simulation and predictive intelligence, LTTS will help PALFINGER accelerate product development cycles, improve operational efficiencies and ensure faster and more responsive delivery to its global customer base.
