KEC International Ltd., a prominent global infrastructure EPC company and part of the RPG Group, has announced the acquisition of new orders amounting to ₹1,002 crores. These orders span across various business sectors, further strengthening the company’s portfolio.
In the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, KEC International has secured significant projects in India and the Americas. This includes a ± 500 kV HVDC transmission line project from a well-known private developer in Western India and 132 kV cabling works from a reputed steel producer in Eastern India. Additionally, the company will supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.
The Renewables sector has also seen a boost with KEC securing an order for a 100+ MW wind project in Southern India from a renowned private developer. This order marks an expansion in the company’s wind energy segment, reinforcing its presence in the renewables market.
In the Transportation sector, KEC International has obtained two orders in the Automatic Block Signaling (ABS) segment in Southern India, showcasing its technological capabilities and reinforcing its position in this segment.
The Cables & Conductors business has also received various orders, both domestically and internationally, further diversifying the company’s market reach.
Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd., expressed satisfaction with the new order wins, highlighting the prestigious HVDC order’s contribution to strengthening the company’s T&D order book in India, particularly in the HVDC space. He also noted the repeat order in the Wind Energy segment as a testament to the company’s growing footprint in renewables.
