Hi-Tech Pipes Limited, one of India’s well-established manufacturers of steel tubes, hollow sections and value-added steel products, has begun commercial production at its Sanand Unit II – Phase II facility in Gujarat. This milestone marks another step in the company’s long-term expansion strategy and further strengthens its presence in the rapidly growing Western India market.
The latest commissioning forms part of the company’s brownfield expansion at Sanand, adding an impressive 1 lakh MTPA of new capacity. With this upgrade, Hi-Tech Pipes is now better positioned to serve high-demand industrial segments that require high-quality, precision-engineered steel products.
The expanded facility boosts the company’s manufacturing capabilities by enabling the production of larger-diameter ERW pipes, jumbo hollow sections, and a broader range of structural and fabrication-grade steel products. This upgraded scale allows Hi-Tech Pipes to meet the needs of sectors such as solar, engineering, fabrication and infrastructure, all of which are witnessing strong momentum in Western India.
