Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (GIPCL) on Thursday, Nov 20, announced the successful commissioning of an additional 150 MW solar capacity as part of its large-scale renewable project at Khavda in the Great Rann of Kutch. The update was shared through an exchange filing.
With the latest phase now operational, GIPCL has commissioned 465 MW out of the planned 600 MW solar power project. The development is part of the company’s presence within the expansive 2,375 MW Renewable Energy Park at Khavda, one of India’s largest clean-energy clusters.
This commissioning marks the fourth phase of the project and follows the company’s previous communication dated October 27, 2025. GIPCL stated that the project continues to progress as scheduled.
