Shyam Metalics has reported a strong performance for the quarter ended 30 September 2025. The company’s consolidated net profit jumped 21% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹260.45 crore compared with ₹215.68 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations rose 22.6% YoY to ₹4,457 crore versus ₹3,634 crore in Q2 FY25. Total income stood at ₹4,526 crore, up 22% from ₹3,706 crore a year ago.
Total expenses rose 21.4% to ₹3,917.59 crore from ₹3,225.16 crore last year, primarily driven by increased material costs and employee expenses.
On the bottom line, profit before tax came in at ₹347.09 crore, up 13.1% from ₹306.80 crore in Q2 FY25. Tax expenses stood at ₹86.64 crore versus ₹91.87 crore in the same quarter last year.
For the first half of FY26, Shyam Metalics posted a net profit of ₹551.12 crore as against ₹491.80 crore in H1 FY25, marking a 12% increase YoY. Revenue for the half-year rose to ₹8,875.86 crore compared with ₹7,245.63 crore last year.
