Elecon Engineering Company Limited has posted its Q2FY26 results, reporting a healthy year-on-year revenue growth of 14%, reaching ₹578.13 crore compared to ₹508.14 crore in the same quarter last year. This increase was driven by strong order execution and improved operational efficiency. Total income for the quarter rose to ₹596.45 crore, supported by other income, while total expenses also grew to ₹484.36 crore, mainly due to higher employee costs and raw material consumption.
Profit before tax remained steady at ₹112.99 crore, slightly higher than ₹110.54 crore in Q2FY25, while net profit stayed flat at ₹87.72 crore, reflecting stability despite rising costs. EBITDA for the quarter increased 12% to ₹125 crore from ₹112 crore in Q2FY25, with margins remaining steady at 22%, reflecting consistent operational efficiency.
Looking at the first half of FY26, Elecon’s revenue from operations reached ₹1,068.70 crore, up 19% from ₹900.50 crore a year ago, while net profit surged 64% to ₹263.16 crore from ₹161.08 crore, highlighting a strong start to the fiscal year. Other comprehensive income for the quarter was ₹28.53 crore, down from ₹100.40 crore last year, and the paid-up equity share capital remained at ₹22.44 crore.
