Shukra Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced a major milestone in its business expansion. The company has received authorization from Meril Healthcare Private Limited, a reputed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of advanced orthopaedic and robotic systems, to manage the “Robotic Assisted Surgery System for Orthopedics” projects.
The authorization covers two prestigious institutions — the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defence, and INHS Asvini, Colaba, Mumbai (Maharashtra).
Under the Letter of Authorization received on October 8, 2025, Shukra Pharmaceuticals is empowered to quote tenders, raise invoices, make supplies, submit offers, and collect orders and payments on behalf of Meril Healthcare for these projects.
This partnership marks Shukra Pharmaceuticals’ strategic entry into the fast-growing medical robotics and advanced orthopaedic healthcare technology sector, reflecting its long-term vision of diversification and value creation.
The company believes that this collaboration will boost its operational strength, expand market reach, and create long-term value for shareholders and stakeholders alike.
The authorization will remain valid till March 2026 or until the completion of the respective projects, whichever occurs earlier.
