Power Mech Projects Limited has announced a significant order win from Mahan Energen Limited (MEL), a subsidiary of Adani Power Limited, amounting to ₹370.84 crores (excluding GST and BOCW Cess). The contract involves the execution of civil works and erection of prefabricated structural steel for BTG Unit 1 & 2 under the Mahan Phase-III (2 x 800 MW) power project in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
According to the company’s disclosure under SEBI regulations, the scope of work for this project includes civil works and structural steel erection for the main powerhouse, BTG units, central control building, ESP, FGD, limestone handling system, switchyard, and miscellaneous ancillary works. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from the issuance of the notice to proceed.
Power Mech clarified that this order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and neither the promoters nor promoter group companies hold any interest in Mahan Energen Limited. The contract does not fall under related party transactions.
