The Bombay High Court has dismissed a petition filed by Seclink Technologies challenging the Maharashtra government’s decision to cancel its 2019 bid for the Dharavi redevelopment project and issue a fresh tender in 2022, which allegedly favored Adani Infrastructure.
A division bench of Chief Justice D.K. Upadhyaya and Justice Amit Borkar delivered the judgment, previously reserved on August 8. Seclink had contested the state government’s move, claiming procedural unfairness in favoring Adani Group’s infrastructure arm.
The redevelopment of Dharavi, one of Asia’s largest slum clusters, has been a subject of significant interest, given its scale and economic implications. Adani Infrastructure’s involvement in the 2022 tender process has been a point of contention, with Seclink arguing against the cancellation of its earlier successful bid.
Following the judgment, Adani Enterprises shares were trading at ₹2,443.20, up 0.99% from the previous close of ₹2,419.35. The stock has seen moderate activity with a trading volume of 4,71,195 shares as of 11:27 AM.
