Indus Towers, a leading telecom infrastructure provider, has announced a ₹38.03 crore investment in JSW Green Energy Eight Ltd., a renewable energy company. This strategic move is aimed at securing 130 MW of solar power to advance its net-zero carbon emission goals.
The acquisition, set to be completed by March 2026, will give Indus Towers a 26% equity stake in the entity. JSW Green Energy Eight Ltd., incorporated on October 18, 2024, has not yet commenced commercial operations.
This partnership supports Indus Towers’ commitment to renewable energy, aligning with its sustainability objectives. The deal involves a cash transaction and does not fall under related-party transactions.
