Great Eastern Shipping Company’s (GESHIP) stock took a hit, dropping over 6% in morning trade after the company released its Q2 financial results.
Despite a 10.20% rise in sales to ₹1,354.40 crore, net profit saw a decline of 3.21%, down to ₹575.57 crore for the quarter ending September 2024. This marks a decrease from ₹594.66 crore in net profit recorded in Q2 FY2023.
As of 9:52 am, Great Eastern Shipping shares were trading 6.70% lower at Rs 1,205.00 on the NSE.
