Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL), a prominent name in India’s casual and denim wear market, has announced the appointment of Ms. Lakshmi Krishnan as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Lakshmi Krishnan brings with her over 25 years of extensive global experience in human resources, having successfully led transformation initiatives and built high-performing teams across various geographies.
Her career trajectory includes significant leadership roles in India, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom, with a focus on the consumer goods, financial services, and technology sectors. Prior to joining Arvind Fashions, she served as the Head of HR for Corporate Functions at Unilever‘s global headquarters in London. There, she worked closely with the Global CFO and Chief Legal Officer to implement organisation-wide transformation initiatives impacting over 5,000 employees.
In her previous role as Head of HR for Unilever’s Global Procurement business in Singapore, a €31 billion operation, Lakshmi successfully led an inclusion programme that significantly enhanced organisational effectiveness and performance.
