MOIL Ltd., India’s leading manganese ore producer, has achieved its highest-ever production for the month of October, producing 1.47 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, a 32% increase over the same month last year. This notable achievement marks the company’s best October production performance since its inception.

- Production Surge: MOIL produced 1.47 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in October 2024, a 32% YoY increase.
- First Seven Months of FY25: The company recorded a total production of 10.17 lakh tonnes for the period, marking a 10% increase over the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
- Record Sales: MOIL also registered its highest October sales, with 1.06 lakh tonnes sold, representing a 21% YoY growth. Total sales for the first seven months of FY25 reached 8.57 lakh tonnes, surpassing last year’s figures.
- Exploration Efforts: The company has ramped up exploration activities, completing 57,071 meters of exploratory core drilling between April and October 2024—1.4 times the drilling completed during the same period last year.
Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD of MOIL, expressed optimism about the company’s performance, stating that the upward trend in production is a positive sign for the fiscal year. He commended the MOIL team for their efforts and emphasized the goal of achieving impressive results for the remainder of FY25.
