Avantel shares jumped more than 7% in morning trade after the company received an order worth Rs 44.49 crore from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for the supply of satcom systems.

Avantel focuses on providing strategic solutions to the Indian Defence Services and other related establishments. It has created and manufactured a variety of radio components and unique products, including satellite communications, HF communications, electronic warfare and radar systems.

As of 9:51 am, Avantel shares were trading 6.67% higher at Rs 183.01 on the NSE.
