Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL), a subsidiary of NTPC, has successfully completed the trial operation of its Unit-2, which has a capacity of 800 megawatts (MW). This development marks a significant milestone for NTPC as it enhances its total installed capacity.
The completion of this trial operation means that the unit is now included in the installed capacity of NTPC, bringing the total installed capacity of the NTPC group to 90,668 MW. This achievement aligns with the approved norms and received due approvals, as stated in the regulatory filing.
