Every actor who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan has a good story to say about his experience working with him. The latest to add on is veteran actress Archana Puran Singh. In a recent interview, the actress remembered Shah Rukh Khan’s kind gesture that almost got him into trouble for Yash Johar, producer of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Recalling her memories while shooting for the 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, starring SRK, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and Salman Khan, Archana shared a lovely anecdote with Bollywood Bubble. She recalled shooting for ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ song for the movie and shared that the makeup rooms at Mehboob Studio, where they were shooting, were pretty far, which made it difficult to walk after dancing. She added that SRK had a van, which Kajol didn’t, and he offered his van to Archana.
She further recalled that she dozed off in his van, and upon noticing SRK did not wake her up and instead just went for his scene, which Archana labelled as a “sweet gesture” of King Khan. However, this gesture did not sit right on SRK’s part as he was scolded by producer Yash Johar.
“Yash Johar… was like, ‘Why are you out of your van, go inside.’ Shah Rukh answered that I was sleeping. Yash ji went like: ‘Who is sleeping in your van?’ He answered, ‘Archana ji’. When I woke up, I asked Shah Rukh ‘why are you doing this?'” continued Archana.
Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK will be next seen in King.
