Responding to Samajwadi Party MP and veteraN actor Jaya Bachchan, actor-politician BJP MP Ravi Kishan said, “I expected Jaya Ji to support what I said. Not everyone in the industry consumes drugs but those who do are part of a plan to finish the world’s largest film industry. When Jaya Ji and I joined, situation was not like this but now we need to protect the industry,” according to ANI.
His response comes after Jaya Bachchan said “Jis Thaali me khaate hain usi mein chiched karte hain.” hitting back at him for saying that the industry is flogged by social media and governement’s non-support and that drug addiction is in the film industry too.
“Just because of a few people, you cannot tarnish the whole industry. I was really embarrassed and ashamed that yesterday one of our members in the loksabha, who is from the industry, spoke against the film industry,” said Jaya Bachchan.
The troubles came in the light of drug related allegations in the light of Sushant Singh rajput’s investigation. The entire film industry has come into the limelight in relation to this and the JP MP had raised this issue in the parliament yesterday.
