Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth recently shared the intimate details about the dream proposal that the Rang De Basanti actor had planned for the Heeramandi actress. Siddharth very cleverly took the actress to the place which was her favourite during childhood and proposed when she least expected it. Aditi also spoke about her and the actor’s first encounter in an interview and the line he used to woo her.
In an interview with Vogue, Aditi explained that it was hard for her to believe that Siddharth is serious about proposing to her because he always does pranks where he actually gets down on his knees and fiddles with his laces. Regarding the proposal, Aditi laughed and said, “I was closet to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddharth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her.”
Siddharth got down on his knees and I asked him, “Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?’ He kept saying, ‘Addu, listen to me’. And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother’s blessings.”
Aditi also remembered how she first met Siddharth and then interacted with him. This beautiful couple met for the first time on the movie set of Maha Samudram which was released in the year 2021.
