Sushil Kumar who won a huge amount after winning Big B‘s Kaun Banega Crorepati show in season 5 has opened up about the challenges he faced after winning the show. Sushil is undoubtedly one the biggest achievers of the show till date but life went all hay-way for him after that.
He posted a note on his Facebook page where he opened up about his trials and tribulations he faced after winning the show. From his problems in marriage to getting addicted to cigarettes and booze, the winner revealed everything. He titled his note as, ‘The worst time of my life was after I won KBC’. In that note Sushil wrote, “From 2015-16, it was the most difficult time of my life and I could not figure out what to do”. He mentioned that he was invited to attend events right after he won the jackpot for almost 15 days in a month which eventually led his to distract from his education. Media houses would always ask him to give interviews and updates on his personal and professional life. He had also made investments in few of his business so that he could tell something to the journalists but soon everything went into gutters as the ventures flopped. Later Sushil opted for philanthropist and donated almost Rs 50,000 every month to different events and social causes but later he figured that he was being played. Sushil also had a tough time in his marriage as by that time he was unsure whom to trust and whom to not. He even said that they were almost up for divorce.
Sushil also revealed about his dream of becoming a filmmaker as he got addicted to movies at that time. He arrived in Mumbai in order to live his dream but was initially asked to work in TV soaps first.
The winner of KBC also included some of the good things that happened to him during the time when he met a group of students in Delhi who told him about new ideas and outer world. “But all these was followed by addiction, of cigarettes and alcohol. Whenever we would meet, it would be over booze and cigarettes”, he added further.
