Rhea Chakraborty was recently arrested by NCB on drug charges linked with SSR death case. The actress applied for a bail too which that was rejected by the High Court and she has to now stay in jail for 14 days. Many Bollywood celebrities came out to support her since then. The probe of SSR suicide case became political when West Bengal Congress held a big rally in Kolkata on Saturday seeking justice for Rhea Chakraborty.
According to the reports of TOI, a number of people came out on streets with banners demanding justice for Rhea and also they were seen wearing masks as the people continued shouting slogans for the actress. Meanwhile, Nitesh Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar has been continuing with the #JusticeforSushant campaign. And the reports of TOI has also suggested that the the rally comes ahead of the polls which are supposed to take place next year. And this incident is the current political angle in the case.
Earlier, Bollywood celebs such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shweta Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhaskar, Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and many others has slammed the media trials and supported Rhea Chakraborty.
