Valentine’s Day just got better as the director Todd Philips took to his Instagram handle to share series of pictures from his upcoming movie Joker 2, hinting at sizzling romance between Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. The director captioned the post, “Hoping your day is full of love.”
In the love photo, Joaquin can be seen in his familiar burgundy suit and Joker clown makeup standing next to Lady Gaga in a floral blouse. The lead actors of the sequel are sporting matching blue eye makeup.
In the next, the unhinged duo are seen rubbing noses and making eyes at each other in a monochrome close-up shot. Joaquin pokes his head through a window, which might also be a jail?
The final new image showcases Joaquin dancing with Harley Quinn on a rooftop in Gotham City, again in black and white, but this time it is a wide shot. While Joaquin dons a black tuxedo, Lady can be seen in a white evening gown. The pair embrace and gaze at each other.
