India achieved history on August 23, 2023, when it became the first country to set foot on the Moon’s South Pole. The Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) Chandrayaan-3 satellite imprints 1.4 billion hearts on the moon’s south pole.
This is a wonderful event that will live on in India’s Space Odyssey forever. During moments of pride, a different kind of tale emerged, alleging that India’s Chandrayaan 3 mission cost less than the Adipurush film starring Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, and Saif Ali Khan, as well as two recent Hollywood blockbusters, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.

According to a recent IANS story, the country of India paid Rs. 615 crore on the Chandrayaan 3 mission, which is less than the cost of the film Adipurush.
Furthermore, when converted to US currency, the $75 million amount is significantly less than the prices of the two most recent Hollywood blockbusters, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which cost $100 million and $145 million, respectively.
Aside from these films, Nolan’s Interstellar cost $165 million to produce, including a drone powered by solar energy from India.
Many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to express their joy at Chandrayaan 3’s successful landing on the Moon’s surface.
