Gateway Distriparks Ltd. reported a sharp improvement in profitability for the quarter ended March 2026, with the company returning to profit on a year-on-year basis aided by the absence of a large exceptional loss seen in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company posted revenue from operations of ₹533.65 crore in Q4 FY26, marginally down 0.24% year-on-year from ₹534.94 crore. Revenue also declined 4.78% sequentially.
Despite flat revenue performance, operational profitability improved during the quarter. EBITDA rose 9.31% YoY to ₹117.72 crore compared to ₹107.70 crore in Q4 FY25. On a sequential basis, EBITDA was down 3.85%.
EBITDA margin improved to 22.06% from 20.13% in the year-ago quarter and 21.85% in Q3 FY26, indicating better operating efficiency.
Profit before tax excluding exceptional items stood at ₹70.32 crore, down 3.45% YoY and 5.99% quarter-on-quarter.
The company reported consolidated PAT after minority interest of ₹60.58 crore for Q4 FY26, compared with a loss of ₹193.09 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Sequentially, PAT declined from ₹67.84 crore reported in Q3 FY26.
The sharp turnaround on a year-on-year basis was largely due to a significant exceptional loss recorded in Q4 FY25. The company had reported an exceptional loss of ₹258.79 crore in the year-ago quarter, while Q3 FY26 had an exceptional loss of ₹2.76 crore.
Other income declined sharply to ₹5.07 crore from ₹17.52 crore in Q4 FY25 and ₹5.76 crore in the previous quarter.
Gateway Distriparks operates in the logistics and rail-linked container transportation segment, with presence across inland container depots, container freight stations and rail logistics services. The company continues to benefit from improving logistics infrastructure, rising containerisation and growth in multimodal freight movement across India.
