Born on November 7, 1954, the 68-year-old Actor, Director, Screenwriter and Singer Kamal Haasan, is said to be teaming up with Tamil cinema’s director and actor Silambarsan, often known by his nickname Simbu or STR for an upcoming project.
Silambarsan for his 48th film, ‘STR 48’ will be pairing up with Kamal Haasan. The Upcoming film is Haasan’s 56th film as a producer.
Taking his Twitter and Instagram, Silambarsan shared exciting and big news with his followers. On Twitter, the director captioned “Dreams do come true”.While on his Instagram, the Director-actor wrote “The Power of Unity #STR48”.
It is assumed that the upcoming film will serve as the first collaboration between Silambarsan and Anirudh Ravichander.
Silambarsan was last seen in his movie Pathu Thala, which was released on March 30, 2023, and received excellent feedback from the viewers and audiences.
As for Kamal Haasan, the actor right now is busy with his upcoming Tamil- language movie Indian 2 starring Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The movie is scheduled to release in 2024.
After Indian 2, Kamal is said to begin his work on his other projects with Mahesh Narayanan and Mani Ratnam. He will also be seen making his return as Vikram in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Vikram 2.
