Rumour has it that a Rowdy Rathore sequel is in the works, and like several other films in recent years, the cast might change.
The 2012 movie Rowdy Rathore, which starred Akshay Kumar in a dual role, was a big hit. The extent of Akshay Kumar’s involvement in the sequel is unclear at this time. He may or may not be present. Since Sid has been offered the role of the cop in this masala comedy, we’re still waiting for a clear picture.
The main concept for Rowdy Rathore 2 has now been solidified by Shabina Khan, who is currently negotiating with Sidharth Malhotra to have him play a cop in the film. Sid has also expressed interest, but he is still considering whether or not to take on a law enforcement role outside of the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe, according to a person familiar with the project.
The film will be produced by Shabina Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and a well-known Indian film company. “Everything necessary is already present; the months and the movie are the only things that are missing.”
