Bollywood King, Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in Anand. L. Rai’s directorial ‘Zero’, is now believed to have signed up for the Yash Raj Films next upcoming biggie. Reports suggest the film will be announced in the next month on Yash Raj Studio’s 50th anniversary. According to Peepingmoon, the title of the film will be ‘Pathan’. The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand and it is going to be a massive action comedy movie.
According to the sources, the script of the movie is almost ready and SRK has completed all the formalities. He is currently discussing with the YRF team for shoot schedules and timelines. The studio’s 50th anniversary is next month and Aditya Chopra is expected to announce ‘Pathan’ and give its release date as 2nd October 2021.
Since Siddharth Anand wanted to shoot the film in untouched parts of the world, the film is expected to be a lavishly-mounted with an action-drama flavour to it. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting schedule of the movie has postponed.
It has been also reported that Deepika Padukone will be SRK’s leading lady in ‘Pathan’. PeepingMoon has learned that the actress, who did three films opposite SRK including ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Chennai Express’, is eager to work with the veteran actor and is looking at her other schedules to avoid any clashes.
