Avantel has announced the appointment of and as Additional Directors (Non-Executive – Independent) for a period of five years, effective from April 26, 2026, to April 25, 2031.

Dr. Tamilmani Kandasamy, a distinguished aerospace professional, brings over four decades of experience in defence research and development, airworthiness certification, and strategic program leadership. He has previously served as Director General (Aeronautics) at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), where he led several high-value national aerospace programs and played a pivotal role in advancing India’s indigenous defence capabilities. His contributions include leading major aerospace programs exceeding ₹10,000 crore and strengthening the airworthiness certification ecosystem. Dr. Tamilmani holds a Ph.D. in Technology Dynamics and National Security and has received several prestigious awards, such as the DRDO Technology Leadership Award and National Aeronautical Prize.

Mr. Lakshminarasimha Acharyulu Muktevi, whose appointment was also approved by ‘s Board of Directors, will serve alongside Dr. Tamilmani. Both appointments are subject to the approval of the company’s members.

In addition to these appointments, Avantel’s Board has approved the reconstitution of several key committees, including the Audit Committee, Nomination & Remuneration Committee, Stakeholders Relationship Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.

The company has also appointed M/s. Grandhy & Co. as Statutory Auditors for a term of five consecutive years, subject to member approval at the upcoming AGM. Additionally, M/s. MPR & Associates have been appointed as Cost Auditor, and M/s. Ramesh & Co. as Internal Auditor for the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
