A Resident Grievance Officer in India has been appointed by Twitter, Vinay Prakash has been named as a Resident Grievance Officer for India by the microblogging site Twitter, according to a report released by Moneycontrol.

A monthly report regarding handling of complaints from the users in India as well as the number of URLs that Twitter has taken action as a result of proactive monitoring efforts along with including actions taken on the complaints needs to be published by Twitter as per Article 4(d) of India’s Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) 2021.
