- Indian film industry’s senior producer and writer Shabbir Boxwala who has produced films like Dil Ka Rishta, Ishq Forever, Mission Istanbul and many more since 1989 is home quarantined as his wife Khadija has been tested positive for the virus.
The producer’s wife developed a mild cold and sore throat to which he confirmed by saying, “It’s not an easy time. My daughter and I are in the living room and we have to manage literally everything. As far as the food goes, thankfully, a few friends have helped. I have asked the entire housekeeping staff to abstain from coming till Khadija is absolutely fine. She isolated herself immediately and the very next day, I told her to get an RT-PCR done. The lab technician came home and unfortunately, my fears were confirmed.”
His upcoming project ‘Shershaah’ with Karan Johar as director starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani was scheduled to release in the month of July 2020 earlier but the project had to be delayed keeping in mind the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
