Pininfarina unveils Batman-inspired B95, Battista

Pininfarina launched its latest special editions, which are inspired by the legendary DC Comics hero Batman. The special editions are based on the Pininfarina Battista and B95 and will be available in limited numbers. There are two options to choose from: Gotham and the Dark Knight.

The special editions come with a 120kWh lithium-ion battery and four electric motors. The latter produces an astonishing 1,874bhp, with a 0-100km/h speed of less than two seconds. As per the manufacturer, this makes them faster than a current Formula 1 car’. While the maximum speed has not been announced, the hypercars will likely reach more than 300km/h.

The Gotham Battista, with its Nero Torino roof and Argento Vittorio gloss paint, is a portrayal of Bruce Wayne’s civilian sophistication. The automobile also features the iconic ‘F’ logo from the company, which is made of polished and brushed anodised aluminium. The vehicle is equipped with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels that have a matte-black rim and a gloss-black face along the sides.

On the other hand, the Dark Knight design also showcases Wayne Enterprise’s pursuit of innovation, so it’s not only about technology. Nero Profondo bodywork and Nero Torino roofs, complete with ceramic-polished rims, are fitted to the Dark Knight Battista and B95.
