Mahindra Thar prices in India revised; Check details

To increase its market share in the SUV sector, Mahindra has introduced the XUV 3XO in India. The Indian carmaker changed the pricing of its popular SUV, the Mahindra Thar, while everyone’s attention was focused on the compact SUV. The company increased the price of certain models by up to Rs 10,000. Due to pricing changes, the SUV’s starting price is now Rs 11.35 lakh (ex-showroom), with the most premium model costing Rs 17.6 lakh (ex-showroom).

In detail, the base AX(O) Diesel MT RWD model currently costs Rs 11.35 lakh (ex-showroom) after the company increased its pricing by Rs 10,000. A similar rise in prices has been implemented on the LX Diesel MT RWD and LX Petrol AT RWD. With the changes in place, the LX Diesel MT RWD model now costs Rs 12.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The current ex-showroom cost of the LX Petrol AT RWD is Rs 14.1 lakh. The costs of every other variation stay the same.

One of the most popular lifestyle SUVs available in the Indian market is the Mahindra Thar. In the Indian market, the off-road vehicle competes against the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the Force Gurkha. It should be mentioned that the SUV is available with 1 petrol and 2 diesel engine options.

In the meantime, the manufacturer intends to launch a five-door version of the Mahindra Thar to boost the SUV’s range. This SUV will most likely be named Armada and is set to debut in India on August 15. However, the company has yet to provide an official confirmation.
