Market close highlights: Indices end green with Nifty above 10k; Bajaj twins become top gainers

The Indian indices opened and ended positively on Friday with Nifty ending above 10,000 level. At close, Sensex was trading at 34,731, up by 1.5 percent. Whereas Nifty also gained 1.5 percent in the trading session ending at 10,244.

The gains on Nifty 50 were led by Bajaj Twins, Tata Motors, and Reliance, among others. Moreover, Bajaj Finserv became the top gainer. Among the sectoral indices, except for Nifty IT and Metal, all closed on the green mark.
