America’s veteran broadcaster Larry King died on January 23, 2021 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 87. Initially, his cause of death was not clear but some sources claimed that he died because of COVID-19.
Now, days after his death it has now get cleared that why he died. The death certificate confirms that his primary cause of death was “Sepsis”. According to a magazine namely People, the death certificate also mentions two underlying situations of Larry King. One was acute hypoxic respiratory failure and other was end stage renal disease, commonly known as kidney failure.
In the late January, King’s wife Shawn Southwick King also confirmed the same that he didn’t died of COVID-19. Some reports suggests that Larry King was about to divorce her wife Shawn.
Talking to Entertainment Tonight, Shawn said “It was an infection, it was sepsis. Well, he was finally ready to go, I will tell you that. You know, he never wanted to go but his sweet little body was just, it had just been hit so many times with so many things and once we heard the word COVID, all of our hearts just sunk. But he beat it, you know, he beat it, but it did take its toll and then the unrelated infection finally is what took him, but boy, he was not gonna go down easily.”
