Tembo Global Industries has informed exchanges that it has successfully participated in a tender issued by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC). The tender relates to revamp works at KNPC’s Sea Island facility, which is located around five kilometres offshore from its main project site.
As per the disclosure, Tembo Global Industries has been technically qualified as the L1 bidder for the project. The estimated value of the contract is approximately ₹300 crore, indicating a sizeable international opportunity for the company in the offshore and energy infrastructure segment.
The scope of work under the tender covers a wide range of critical offshore systems. This includes the supply and installation of mooring hooks and capstan winches, sewage treatment systems, and a comprehensive fire protection setup. The fire safety scope spans fire water pump packages, jockey pump packages, foam systems, deluge systems, and complete fire water system integration. In addition, the project involves motor-operated valves with actuators, public address and general alarm systems, and weather monitoring systems, all of which are essential for offshore operational safety and reliability.
