NTPC Limited has announced the commercial operation of a fresh solar capacity at its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, marking another milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion. The update was shared through a regulatory filing in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The company stated that 78 MW capacity out of the total 245 MW at Plot-1 of the Nokh Solar PV Project (3 × 245 MW) has been successfully commissioned and declared commercially operational with effect from 00:00 hours on December 18, 2025. The project is located in Rajasthan and forms part of NTPC’s broader renewable energy portfolio.

Following this development, NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity on a standalone basis has increased to 60,783 MW. On a group basis, the company’s overall installed and commercial capacity now stands at 85,259 MW.
