Kranti Industries Limited has officially entered the defence manufacturing space after receiving 12 purchase orders from Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited – Machine Tool Prototype Factory (AVNL–MTPF), a Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU) under the Ministry of Defence. The company disclosed the development in an exchange filing dated November 28, 2025.

According to the filing, this marks the company’s first-ever entry into the defence and public sector ecosystem — a strategic step in its ongoing diversification roadmap. The orders involve machining precision components for defence applications and collectively carry a value of approximately Rs 47,00,000. These orders are to be executed within three months.

Kranti Industries highlighted that the defence sector’s confidence in its technical capabilities and quality systems reinforces the company’s long-term prospects in high-value precision engineering. The filing emphasizes that this development strengthens opportunities in high-margin defence components and supports the company’s push into critical engineering applications.

The orders have been awarded by a domestic entity, and there is no promoter or related-party interest involved, as clarified in the annexure of the filing.

The company has confirmed compliance with all regulatory requirements under SEBI’s LODR norms.
