Dilip Buildcon has added another major highway project to its portfolio after receiving the Letter of Acceptance from the National Highways Authority of India. The project involves the four-laning of the Paramakudi to Ramanathapuram section of NH-49 (reassigned as NH-87) in Tamil Nadu. With a development cost of ₹879.30 crore, excluding GST, this contract strengthens the company’s position in India’s fast-growing road infrastructure space.
The sanctioned stretch covers 46.665 kilometres and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode. As per the terms, the construction period has been set at 24 months, followed by a 15-year operation period starting from the commercial operation date. This upgrade is expected to enhance connectivity across the region by easing travel and improving the overall traffic flow on this crucial southern corridor.
The National Highways Authority of India is the awarding authority, and the LOA marks a continuation of DBL’s long-standing engagement with national highway development. The company confirmed that the project is a domestic contract and does not fall under related-party transactions. The terms follow a standard contractual structure, and no promoter group has any financial interest in the awarding entity.
Along with the announcement, Dilip Buildcon notified exchanges that its trading window will remain closed until 48 hours after the disclosure becomes publicly available, in line with insider-trading regulations and its internal code of conduct.
