Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda in the role of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee Arun Khetarpal, is set to hit theatres on December 25. The film now carries even deeper emotion as it marks the last on-screen appearance of veteran actor Dharmendra, whose health condition has become a matter of national concern.
Dharmendra’s final performance
The makers unveiled a new poster featuring Dharmendra as the father of 21-year-old Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The caption read, “Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations.”
With this film, the legendary actor delivers his final cinematic performance—a role described as emotionally powerful and deeply rooted in India’s military history.
