Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) had a fantastic month in September 2025, clocking total sales of 70,347 units, up 10% from 64,201 units in September 2024. This includes 51,547 units sold domestically and 18,800 units exported.

The popular CRETA SUV stole the show, achieving its highest-ever monthly sales at 18,861 units. Overall, SUVs played a bigger role than ever in Hyundai’s domestic sales, with 37,313 units sold, making up 72.4% of total domestic sales—the highest SUV contribution in HMIL’s history.

Another highlight was the Hyundai VENUE, which recorded its best monthly sales in the last 20 months, selling 11,484 units.

Exports also shone brightly, rising nearly 44% year-on-year to 18,800 units, marking HMIL’s highest monthly export tally in the past 33 months. For the first half of the financial year (April–September 2025), cumulative exports grew 17% YoY to 99,540 units, showcasing India’s growing role as Hyundai’s global manufacturing hub.

Our domestic sales in September stood at 51,547 units, driven by vibrant festive demand and strong customer interest across all segments. We have also witnessed highest-ever domestic SUV sales penetration in the history of the Company at 72.4%, with CRETA scoring the highest-ever monthly sales at 18,861 units. VENUE too reported a 20-month high sales volume of 11,484 units in September.”
