NTPC has successfully commissioned 167 MW out of the 245 MW capacity at Plot-1 of its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, marking an important milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion. The project, part of a larger 3×245 MW development, is now officially declared on commercial operation with effect from 26th September 2025.
In the excahgne filings, the company shared, “We would like to inform you that consequent upon successful commissioning, 167 MW out of 245 MW capacity at Plot-1 of NTPC’s Nokh Solar PV Project (3x245MW), Rajasthan, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs.of 26.09.2025. “
This addition further strengthens NTPC’s renewable portfolio and supports India’s energy transition goals. With this development, the total installed capacity of NTPC stands at 60,705 MW on a standalone basis and 83,863 MW on a group basis, making it one of the largest power producers in the country. NTPC continues to focus on delivering reliable and sustainable power to meet India’s growing energy needs.
