Shares of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) continued their strong momentum on Monday, gaining 4.14 percent to trade at ₹530.05. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹535.95 and a low of ₹512.35, with more than 31.4 lakh shares changing hands.
The upmove comes on the back of a sharp 11.8 percent surge in the last trading session on September 5, when the stock closed significantly higher amid strong investor interest. GMDC has now rallied over 16 percent in just two sessions, pushing the stock closer to its 52-week high of ₹610.80.
At current levels, GMDC is up more than 130 percent from its 52-week low of ₹226.59, reflecting sustained bullish sentiment in the state-owned mining and minerals player. The counter remains in focus with broader strength in the metals and mining sector providing further support.
