Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) has announced that its joint venture DBL-RBL JV has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) for a major metro infrastructure project in Gurugram. The project, valued at ₹1,503.63 crore (including GST), involves the construction of a section of the Gurugram Metro Corridor and is scheduled to be completed within 30 months.

The awarded work includes the construction of a viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9 (inclusive), covering approximately 15.22 km of the 26.65 km corridor. The scope also covers a spur line to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 km), a ramp to the depot at Sector 33, and an underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk. However, the project excludes pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and architectural finishing works.

According to the company’s filing, the order has been secured under the General Contract (L1) mode, awarded by a domestic entity. DBL clarified that there is no related party transaction involved, and neither the promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in Gurugram Metro Rail Limited.

The Gurugram Metro expansion is a highly anticipated project aimed at improving urban connectivity between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City. With a total of 27 stations, including the main corridor and the spur line, this development is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide seamless connectivity for commuters in one of India’s fastest-growing cities.
