ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned 75 MW of renewable energy capacity at its ongoing solar project in Sikar, Rajasthan. This adds to the previously commissioned 165 MW at the same site, taking the total operational capacity of the ACME Sikar Solar project to 240 MW out of a planned 300 MW.

The project, located in Bikaner, spans approximately 1300 acres and benefits from high solar irradiation levels in the region. Once fully commissioned, the plant is expected to generate about 780 million units of electricity annually.

Power from the project is transmitted through a dedicated 220 kV single-circuit line to the Bikaner-II grid. The project debt is financed by PFC Limited.

The 300 MW project was awarded to ACME Solar under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at a tariff of ₹3.05 per unit. While the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is yet to be signed, power generated from the commissioned capacity is currently being sold on power exchanges at merchant tariffs.

With this commissioning, ACME Solar’s total operational capacity now stands at 2806.4 MW.
