Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced that it has secured a significant order, valued between ₹1,000 crore to ₹2,500 crore, to construct Uzbekistan’s first AI-enabled and sustainable 10-Megawatt data centre in Tashkent. This project marks a significant milestone for the country, bringing cutting-edge technology and sustainability to the region’s data infrastructure.

L&T will handle the engineering, procurement, and construction of the facility, which will integrate advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to support next-generation AI applications. The data centre will focus on minimising environmental impact and maximising energy efficiency, setting new benchmarks for infrastructure in the region. Robust security measures will also be implemented to safeguard sensitive data using state-of-the-art technologies.
