Mahindra has recently announced a price hike for the Thar Roxx, its five-door off-road SUV, with increases of up to ₹60,000. This is the first price revision for the Thar Roxx since its launch on August 14 last year. The hike applies to select diesel variants, while the entry-level models remain priced as before. The price increase follows Mahindra’s earlier announcement in December 2024 that it would raise prices for its models by up to 3% starting January 2025.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is a popular five-door SUV that competes with models like the Maruti Jimny, Force Gurkha, and Jeep Meridian. It features two-row seating, ample boot space, and a fresh design, making it an appealing option for lifestyle vehicle buyers. The price hike particularly affects the high-end variants, which have increased prices between ₹10,000 and ₹60,000.

The entry-level price for the Thar Roxx remains at ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end variant, the AX7 L automatic 4X4, now costs ₹23.09 lakh, up from ₹22.49 lakh. The AX7 L manual 4X4 variant has increased by ₹60,000, now priced at ₹21.59 lakh. The AX7 L manual and automatic variants without 4X4 capabilities have also seen price increases of ₹50,000, now priced at ₹19.49 lakh and ₹20.99 lakh, respectively.

Other variants such as the AX5 L automatic 4X4 and MX5 manual 4X4 have also been affected, with the former seeing a ₹10,000 hike to ₹21.09 lakh and the latter rising by ₹30,000 to ₹19.09 lakh. However, prices for other petrol engine variants have remained unchanged.
