Afcons Infrastructure Limited has recently received a Letter of Intent from the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, for a significant project involving the augmentation of the MTC, creation of SAF, and the development of workshop equipment for the ship lift facility (AMCSWF) at Visakhapatnam.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has awarded the contract under the Design & Build (D&B) concept, covering Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, ELV systems, Furniture & Interiors, and related works. The project, valued at ₹1084.54 Crore (including GST), is set to be completed over the next 36 months.
