Havells India has announced an investment of Rs 480 crore to establish a new refrigerator manufacturing plant in Ghiloth, Rajasthan. This follows their earlier announcement in August 2023, marking a significant expansion in their production capabilities.
The new facility will add 14,00,000 units to Havells’ production capacity, with the company aiming to complete the setup by Q2FY27. With an investment of approximately INR 480 crore, the project will be financed through internal accruals.
This expansion will allow Havells to benefit from backward integration and economies of scale, strengthening its market presence in the competitive home appliance industry.
