Rail Vikas Nigam shares jumped more than 3% in morning trade after the company bagged Rs 270 crore metro project in Maharashtra.

The company has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a major metro project awarded by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited. This project includes the construction of several elevated metro stations across Reach 3A and Reach 4A of the Nagpur Metro Rail Project Phase-2.

As of 9:18 am, RVNL shares were trading 9.20% higher at Rs 492.35 on the NSE.
