The stock market today India ended marginally higher on Tuesday, May 20, as gains in heavyweight stocks including Reliance Industries and Hindalco helped markets recover from early volatility amid easing crude oil prices and improved global sentiment.

The NSE Nifty 50 closed at 23,659, up 41 points or 0.17%, while the BSE Sensex gained 117.54 points, or 0.16%, to settle at 75,318.39. Bank Nifty advanced 153 points to close at 53,562.20, while the Nifty Next 50 index outperformed with a gain of 0.54%.
